The hidden Rome, from A to Z

Do you remember the hidden Rome, Secret Rome? It was the manifestation promoted by the Rome Municipality to makes people rediscovering the Ancient Rome’s wonderful. We’ve spoken about it this summer. Now we want to talk about it again: as a matter of fact the success of the first manifestation had persuaded the Rome Municipality to repeat it.
Rome from A to Z is the new project lasting till the end of December. If the previous hidden Rome, secret Rome has offered to his visitors 137 different tours, the new one will be articulated in 256 tours on 20 different archeological sites.
Till the end of December 2010 everyone will be allowed to lose himself in the middle of the Rome captivation and mistery. Secret Rome from A to Z will open to everyone the Auditorium di Mecenate, the Insula Romana sotto Palazzo Specchi, the Mitreo dell’ara Massima di Ercole, the Necropoli Ostiense, the Trofei di Mario e Porta Magica and a lot of other secret places. Using Google Earth you can “visit” the ancient Rome of 320 AD, making a 1700 years leap back in time.
