Mimmo Jodice at Palazzo delle esposizioni. Experimenting with as editing with
He met photography in the ’60 with the technical prejudice of a painter and the avant-garde bravery. Mimmo Jodice will be exposed at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome till July 11th 2010.

What his poetry reveals is his thought’s power. The thought’s need born with the photographic need.
This allow the artist to create something like his Fotografia Vera (1978), a photo in which a hand have been taken in his regular size and overwritten with the words “Vera Fotografia” (Real Photo).
As a Contemporary Photographer, Mimmo Jodice has, also, to think about digital techniques capabilities. As a matter of fact he can’t embrace these new techniques without editing his poetry so he can’t embrace it at all.
Ida Gianelli takes care of the exhibition, in which a lot of Mimmo’s beloved themes are represented in optical black and white technique(myth, sea, antiquity and his city, Naples).
