Posted in Exhibitions in Rome and surroundings - February 28th, 2010
Until 30 May, the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome will host an exhibition dedicated to Fabrizio De Andrè, the author of some of the most beautiful Italian songs such as “Pescatore”, “Bocca di Rosa” and “Creuza de ma”.
Eleven years after his death, the exhibition “Fabrizio De Andrè – La Mostra” has now come to Rome; a multimedia and interactive journey that traces the words, music and characters of his songs.
The exhibition is divided into four settings:
- The Hall of Poetics is devoted to the words of the songs of De Andrè, with some manuscripts and videotaped interviews;
- In the Music Room, photos and record covers are on display, accompanied by projections of live performances;
- The Hall of the Tarot is dedicated to the characters of some songs and their story is told through a stage performance by some actors.
- And finally the Hall of Life, an environment dedicated to the life of Fabrizio de Andrè.
“Fabrizio De Andrè – La Mostra” is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday, from 9.00 to 19.00.
The entry ticket cost is 9 euros (full price) and 7 euros (reduced).
