Photo Exhibition Rome: The World Colors

The World Colors is the new National Geographic photo exhibition in Rome, that occurs from February the 12th to May the 1st 2011, in the exhibition will be show 95 unpublished photo of big impact.
The National Geographic photo exhibition in Rome, is a profound travel among the captured image from the biggest photographers of the magazine, that chronicle the life on our world pointing out oxymorons and suggestions, strengths and weakness, happiness and pains, throw the colors intensity that every day the planet appears.
The exhibition is divided in four parts, every section is dedicated at one color, so the photo with white tone represent the innocence and the purity of the endangered animals, while the blue photo display the seas and sky calmness with a focus on the water value for every species, we embody. The red is the color of the ground, the fire and of the passions of all the men, women and children, while photos with the green tone represent the life and the mere existence with the wish that the future there will be more environmental awareness .
The National Geographic photo exhibition on Rome, takes place in Palazzo dell’Esposizioni. Via Milano 13, the entry is free until one hour before of timing closure, if you are looking a nigh hotel in Rome follow the link.

World Press Photo, the most important photo contest now at its 53rd edition, is opening tomorrow in Rome and will end June 6.
As usual, this 2010 edition will be hosted at the Museum of Rome in Trastevere and as well as 101,960 photographs will be exposed to the public and judged by an independent jury.
The work of other photographers competing for the prize are divided into 10 different categories: Daily Life, People in the News, Sports News, General News, Nature, News Stories, Arts and Entertainment, Portraits, Sports foreground and Finally, in Action Sports. (more…)
