Rock in Rome 2011 (1° Part)

For several years now, Rome is the stage of one of biggest Rock event in Italy. In fact Rock in Rome thanks international artists attracts thousands of fans in whole Italy. In the past editions there were exhibitions like Duran Duran, Francesco De Gregori, Litfiba, Skunk Anansie, Nine Inch Nails and Massive Attack. if it is possible maybe this time is better. In fact the numbers of exhibitions is almost double. While don’t change the location, it remains in Ippodromo delle Capannelle (via Appia Nuova 1245) and if you are looking one accommodation you can book this hotel in center of Rome. - June 18th – 30 Seconds to Mars at Rock in Rome 2011
Concert starts at 19:00 – Price 40 € without presale
The 30 Seconds to Mars are American band formed in 1998. His front man is Jared Leto, known also like actor, among his acting credits we must cite interpretation of Angel Face in Fight Club. The band plays within the genres Alternative Rock, precisely Emo-Core.

The Avenged Sevenfold was formed in 1999 and played metalcore, During the years the group has shifted on kind of music more soft like Classic Heavy Metal. This date could be the last concert of Avenged Sevenfold in Italy, because after the death of drummer The Rev (Decmber 28th 2010), the others members of the group aren’t so sure to go ahead with the project.

The Korn is American band guided by front man Jonathan Davis. They are considered the inventors of Nu Metal genre, that is a so called crossover genre which takes sounds and materials among different kind of music. Life is Peachy, Follow the Leader e Issues have been success album in fact the band have sold more than 30 millions albums in all over the world.

The Subsonica are composed by Samul, C-Max, Boosta, Ninja and Bass Vcio, and they are a alternative rock Italian band that made their debut in 1996. Since their debut the band was characterized by innovative and experimental sounds. To this day the band have published 6 albums and have sold more than 400.00 copies.

Concert in Rome: Jamiroquai

There is big expectation to the Rome concert of Jamiroquai. In fact this is the first world tour of the London band under the new label Mercury Records, record company has taken Sony Records’ place after six album and thirteen years of music history.
For this new adventure, the album launch is Rock Dust Light Star. The album was written and recorded from frontman of the band, Jay Kay, and the album was released six month ago. The fil rouge of the tracks is the same of others album, that is acid jazz and funk sound, while the lyrics patronize peace and brotherhood messages. Obviously there will be also the others members of the band in the concert in Rome: Rob Harris guitarist, Paul Turner bassist, Matt Johnson keyboard player, Derrick McKenzie drummer, Sola Akingbola percussionist. The Jamiroquai concert in Rome is one of six stop of Italian tour (Milan March 30th, Turin April 2nd, Florence April 3rd, Padua July 21st, Lucca July 24th).
The location Jamiroquai concert in Rome is Ippodromo delle Capanelle (Capanelle Hippodrome via Appia Nuova 1255) the July 22nd 2011. You can find the ticket in the authorized stores. If you want you can round off your evening with a special dinner in roof garden restaurant in Rome center.
