We are continuing our examine about Rome tour. Today we’ll illustrate a detailed itinerary about what see and do in Rome in 4 days. About the accommodation we suggest this hotel in Rome center, because even if 4 days could seem many, they aren’t for a city like Rome.
1° Day – Ancient Rome
We start off our Rome itinerary in 4 days with the capital heart, that is with the monuments which are famous all around the world: Coliseum, Imperial Forums and Palatine. To see these monuments we suggest you to buy the ticket in front of the imperial forums because with only one ticket you’ll can visit all of three and mostly you’ll can jump the line of the Coliseum ticket office that rushed by tourist. At last you point towards Piazza Venezia where you’ll admire the Vittoriano, that is a national monument dedicated to Victor Emanuel II and you’ll have time you could visit the art show located there.
2° Day – Papal Rome
In the second day we suggest to visit the places linked with ecclesiastic sovereignty, so the most important are St. Peter’s Basilica, Castel Sant’Angelo and Vatican Museums even if in this last case would be better if you’ll visit the Vatican Museums in a another day because they are very big. How to spend three days in Rome (1° Part)

How we have promised we go on about Rome tours. Today, we’ll show how to spend three days in Rome thanks a well organized itinerary, thought to all who have little time but want however know Rome. Obviously if you stay in Rome only a week-end we tell you that the tour will be at a fast pace so we suggest this hotel in center of Rome in this way you’ll not waste your time.
1° Day – How to spend three days in Rome
We suggest that you start with the symbol of the city, that is Colosseum, which is also called Flavian Amphitheatre because it was built by two member of Flavian dynasty. Thanks the inside visit you’ll can know the real history and a lot of curiosity about the greatest bowl of the ancient world. Now you can go to Tito Arch and admire it, enter in Palatino which is a open-pit museum. Walk in direction to Piazza Venezia through via dei Fori Imperiali, there you will find Vittoriano, a monumental complex which is dedicated at first king of Italy, Victor Emanuel II of Savoia.
You can glance at Vittoriano to see if there is a interesting art show exhibition. After a short break for the lunch, straight in via del corso, through the street in the center of Rome you can admire the Trevi fountain (Launch a coin, don’t forget!), Spain’s square with its “barcaccia” and for the last walk for the shopping street, Via dei Condotti, there in few steps you’ll find obelisk of People’s square if you turn on the right, here there are the twin church, Santa Maria in Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli.
